Advisory, Engineering & Projects
A four-hundred-page file lands on a Thursday, submission is in twelve days, and the only take-off available is the client's. That is when we get the call.
A project is drawn, costed, secured and carried — here, by the same people, from framing to deliverable. Four disciplines in the same room, so that no decision rests on a document nobody has read.
IN ONE SENTENCE
Altimetria's Advisory practice frames, instructs, arbitrates and carries construction, capital-equipment and transformation projects. Four domains: engineering and construction, consulting and management, legal and compliance, finance and management. A project becomes real only once it is drawn, priced, secured and set on a tenable schedule — by the same people, from framing to deliverable, and always on documents that were read.
Four domains, four deliverables
| Domain | What we instruct | What comes out |
|---|---|---|
| Engineering & Construction | Design, structural calculations, quantity take-off and scheduling. We recompute the items that carry the price and hold the interfaces between trades. | Executable project |
| Consulting & Management | Framing, governance, client-side project assistance: who decides what, by when, on which document — and what happens if the milestone slips. | Structured decision |
| Legal & Compliance | Business law, public and procurement law, contracts, GDPR. The clause read at its own date — CCAG, CPS, FIDIC — and admissibility checked before submission. | Secured framework |
| Finance & Management | Audit, structuring, management control, taxation: the business plan that holds under stress, the real cost of bonds, retention and working capital — and, across borders, what withholding tax and currency exposure actually leave of the margin. | Defensible economics |

Four disciplines, one deliverable: a judgement. This division produces neither code nor imagery — it reads, compares, quantifies, and states what it relies on.
ADVISORY · WHAT WE HAVE ALREADY READ
Engineering and construction: brief, feasibility, technical choices, quantities and forecast cost by trade. A project is not decided on intent — it is decided on quantities, schedules and a costing that holds line by line.
Advisory and market studies: who buys what, at what pace, for what amounts, and who usually wins. A market study is only worth what its real award data is worth — not what is declared.
Finance and management: a buyer's investment capacity, a partner's financial strength, a company's exposure to public procurement. Figures that carry their source — never an estimate presented as a fact.
Legal and compliance: the consultation rules before the specifications, the law as it stood on the day, appeal deadlines. A single misread line can have a bid set aside unopened.
The four disciplines, and what you will find there
Each discipline has its page, and each page carries its material: models that run, screens already drawn, architectures, methods. Here is, for each, a glimpse of what awaits you.

External works ↔ structure
Engineering & Construction
A project only becomes real once it is drawn, costed line by line and set against a schedule the site can actually hold.
THE MECHANICS
How a decision gets built.
Consulting & Management
A recommendation only matters if it can become a decision — and then a delivered project.

Legal & Compliance
A well-drafted contract is truly read only once: the day something goes wrong.
ADVISORY · MODEL
See margin, cash and risk in the same decision.
Finance & Management
A financial plan is credible only when every assumption carries its source.

A call, made in 20 seconds
A capital project bid, four disciplines, one single voice.
A contractor of around thirty people has twelve days to respond, with no in-house estimating department: technical content, financial structuring, contract law, programme. Advisory instructs all four at once — recomputes the items that carry the price, holds the interfaces between trades where defects are born, prices what bonds and retention actually cost, raises the clarification requests before the deadline, documents the GO and secures the technical bid. The decision remains the client's — equipped, costed, defensible.
